Path to Serenity: Gratitude

Updated: Mar 7, 2020

New Beginnings

New moon, sliver of silver cycle anew, giving promise of new beginnings.

We forget every moment--new beginning.

Did I fall down? Did I do something unforgivable? (This word should not exist!)

Let go--truly let go of past pains. Learn from them; then let them dissolve like morning mists.

Today is a new beginning filled with opportunities to love, learn, to embrace this special moment in our short time here on Earth.

Make each task, a task of love.

No chore needs to be a chore.

When we offer

all we do to our Creator even the most humble activity is elevated.

Take a deep breath--really feel it fill you...slowly let it out know that in this breath you are alive.

Let this breath be filled with gratitude, faith and peace. Your life is what you make of it. Surrender to it cherish it, love it.

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. 1 Chronicles 16:34

I give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of your wonderful deeds. Psalm 9:1

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6
