What is faith? How do we "get" it? Does it just come or do we have to do something first? In many ways, faith is a choice, i.e., to believe something or not. Many of our everyday activities require a certain amount of faith, that we will get the pay check promised for our work, that the food we buy and the water we drink is safe to consume. But what about faith in God? Where does that come from? How do we get more when we feel we need it? We can pray for it, but even that needs faith that God will deliver what we are asking for. We can hope that what we believe is true, but that doesn't always seem enough. The one thing we can do is choose to believe, to have faith. When we choose to have faith, we are saying, even though I don't know for sure, I will choose to believe, to have faith. Seems too simple, right? Well, try it. Read God's Word where again and again we are promised that God is faithful; He always keeps his Word. Review scripture that points to God's promises and watch how true they rem
